    Everyone is welcome: business owners, employees, medical patients, family members, and anyone who cares about the program.

    If you can be there, be there. The more of us in the room, the clearer it is to the Council that the community is against changing the program.

    How to speak

    A couple of sentences is plenty. You don't need to be a public speaker.

    1. Arrive by 5:45 PM. The meeting starts at 6:00.
    2. Sign up at the door. If you don't sign up, you don't get to speak.
    3. Wait for "Public Participation." It's called early in the meeting.
    4. Speak when called. Three minutes maximum.

    When speaking, stay respectful and professional. We represent our community.

    Read the simple format below, then share a short positive story about how the marijuana program has positively impacted you in relation to Sanford.

    "Good evening Council members. Thank you for the opportunity to address you tonight. I respectfully ask the Council to vote no on the marijuana resolution, Item 26-145-01.
